Things I wish someone told me sooner
Hey Growth Getter 👋
You ever feel like you’re doing business wrong because you didn’t follow their steps?
Like… you missed the magical window to post on Instagram.
Or you don’t have a 72-email sales funnel.
Or you didn’t wake up today feeling like a #bossbabe CEO ready to scale to 7-figures.
Yeah. Same.
Some days growth looks like winning a client.
Some days it looks like not quitting when everything feels foggy.
And other days? Growth is just making space to think clearly — or cry — or take a damn nap (and I say that as someone who firmly believes that naps are life).
I’ve built my business in the back row of conferences, in yoga pants at 2 a.m., in grief and burnout and joy and flow.
And I want you to know:
There is no one right way to grow.
But there is your way.
Lately, I’ve been sitting with this truth a lot. Watching so many of us (myself included) internalize the idea that if we just worked a little harder or followed the right blueprint, then we’d figure it out.
But most of the time?
You’re not missing a funnel — you’re missing clarity.
Not missing hustle — but support.
Not missing strategy — just permission to do it your way.

That’s why I built GrowthSquad.
Not to hand you my playbook.
But to help you finally write your own.
It’s where we turn spark into structure, idea into income, chaos into cashflow.
And in July, I’m hosting a challenge inside to help you do exactly that.
🧠 You’ll finally get clarity on your core offer.
🎯 You’ll stop guessing what to say online.
💥 And you’ll walk away with a strategy that doesn’t require you to sell your soul (or spend 10 hours in Canva… unless of course, that’s your jam).
As I sprinkle on the final touches, the waitlist is open.
And early birds get access to my GrowthVault so you can start untangling your strategy before the challenge even begins.
PS: I’m also writing a new book.
It’s about how writing your book can help you close high-value clients — even if you’re not a writer, or your audience is small. Because your ideas are already powerful. You just need the right container.
More on that soon.
But for now?
Take a breath.
You’re not behind.
You’re not broken.
You’re just building in a way that actually fits you.
And that… is the spark.
xo,
Christine

I find that sometimes I get caught in the “oh wow so-and-so has so many subscribers” and then feel bad at my numbers. But then I remember that I’m choosing to grow slowly and while I may not have 10,000 subscribers, the ones I have are very engaged. Appreciate the reminder.
I feel this so much especially after culling my email list from nearly 1k down to 200 because I had gone dormant for so long and people were not engaged. An engaged smaller audience is so much better than high numbers but no opens/clicks.
It’s hard NOT to fall into that “compare and despair” mode but so glad you’re staying focused on the slow growth.
