Liz’s story. And maybe yours, too.

“I saw my light starting to dim.”

That’s what Liz said to me during our half-n-yap* — and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.

She told me that some of the content I’d shared (particularly on LinkedIn) resonated more deeply than I could’ve imagined — enough to help her realize her current role wasn’t it. That it hadn’t been for a while. That she felt her spark slowly fading.

And that she had finally put in her notice.

She’s not alone.

We talked about a pattern we’ve been seeing — a kind of collective reckoning among our peers. A bubbling up of questions like:

  • “Is this what I want?”

  • “Is this who I’m meant to be?”

  • “What am I doing with my one wild and precious life?”

It reminds me of that early-pandemic clarity when the world got quiet — except this time, the pause is self-imposed. It’s not coming from crisis. It’s coming from consciousness.

From agency. From empowerment. From a desire to live a life that actually feels like ours.

This is what I live for — helping women reignite what’s been fading and build businesses (and lives) they actually want to wake up to.

If this is you right now — standing at the edge of a decision or wondering what’s next — just know you’re not alone.

The reckoning is real. The spark isn’t gone. And your next chapter gets to feel like you.

P.S. If you’ve been feeling that quiet nudge that something’s got to change — we’ve created a few ways to help you find your next right step.

You can join GrowthSquad, our group experience where we blend strategy, neuroscience, and soul to help you build a business that works for you. Or, if you’re exploring more personalized support, you can book a free intro call to learn about private coaching opportunities.

Either way, we’d be honored to walk alongside you.

*A half-n-yap = one bottle, two glasses, infinite vibes. It’s what happens when you sit down with someone you trust, pour yourselves half, and let the conversation go wherever it wants to — from “here’s what I’m struggling with” to “OMG you will not believe this.”

This “Let that shiitake go” graphic is also available as a notebook and vinyl sticker on my brand new shop A Side of Sass, along with many more fun sayings and designs. New, sassy items added weekly!

This wee shop has been a brainchild of mine for years that I had never “allowed” myself to indulge in because “it would detract from my work through Sprk’d” 🤮

What a tall tale I was telling myself!

We’re allowed to be multiple things. We’re allowed to have multiple passions.

Design will always be my “first love” so this is a fun creative outlet for me and a way to bring a simple smile or a reminder of calm into the lives of others.

And that’s what it’s all really about anyway… connection.

Would love your feedback — as always — so please comment below or send me a message.

Until next time, I’m wishing you a well-rested holiday season (as much as humanly possible).
