Kevin Rose on fear

“Trust your gut. Always.” — Digg founder, Kevin Rose

Simple advice

It can’t get any more simple than that! I’m a firm believer that you know what’s right for you. Seeking out advice from others is a great way to learn from others and to gain insights into other options/ideas but you need to follow your vision—your path.

Get out of your own way

But sometimes we can be our own worst enemies. Starting a new business is risky and so often we fear failure. In this great article from Inc., Rose goes on to advise entrepreneurs to embrace fear.

Focus on improvement

I believe that we all have a little entrepreneur in us whether we’ve been at a company for 5 years or just started our own yesterday. If you have responsibilities and have to answer to someone you’re constantly looking to improve—and that means there is always a risk of failure.

“If you don’t understand something, you don’t hand it off. You surround yourself with people who can bring you up to speed.” – Kevin Rose
